Anne Arundel County police officer is charged with assault after Baltimore police said he bit another man's testicles during a fight outside a Canton bar on Cinco de Mayo.
Michael Flaig, 31, a 10-year veteran officer with the Anne Arundel County police department was charged Tuesday night after he got into a fight with a man outside Looney's Pub, Baltimore police wrote in charging documents.
City police said the incident began when Flaig and the victim got into a fight outside in the 2900 block of O'Donnell Street. The victim said Flaig was groping his female roommate, and told him to stop, but Flaig refused. A copy of the report provided by Baltimore police redacted the victim's name.
As the victim started to walk home, north in the 700 block of S. Linwood Street, police said Flaig ran up from behind and attempted to punch him in the face, but the man ducked.
