Задача патентов в нынешней системе защиты интеллектуальной собственности - не столько разьяснять суть изобретения, сколько запутывать его чтобы никто ничего не понял, но при этом основные заявки (claims) содержались внутри в максимальном количестве как мины замедленного действия. Если бы я не был автором алгоритма, я бы сам мало что понял из его описания.

We just received notice of our KP pallet building process receiving patent coverage. Recall that we did NOT disclose the algorithms which would be hard to enforce, rather the process of how the pallets are built, which is more easily observed if competitors try to copy.

Joe, it may be worthwhile in your customer presentations to mention that our pallet building is patented.
Also, note the ramp up in patent applications in the fourth quarter 2014. This includes System X and advances in bots, controls, charging, structure. There are a number of additional applications in the pipeline not yet filed with the US Patent Office. We continue to work with Janik to complete these.
